In CPN ML, a comment begins with (*
and ends with *)
, and all text within a comment will not affect the behavior of a net. Comments can be added to inscriptions for different purposes. In the example on the left, a comment has been added to a guard to describe the purpose of the guard. In the example on the right, a comment is used to remove a guard without deleting the inscription.
In some cases, errors will occur when an entire inscription consists of a comment.
In such cases, the inscription will have to be changed so that it contains syntactically correct text that is not in the comment.
