This is a small toy example which is well-suited as a first introduction to hierarchical CP-nets. The use of substitution transitions and fusion sets are described in great detail, but do note that fusion places are not supported in CPN Tools at this time.
The CPN model describes how a number of different sites communicate via a ring network.
